Emily Rachel Morris is an American actor, producer, and singer-songwriter. She has earned fame for her roles in the series ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ and the movies ‘I Kissed a Vampire’ and ‘Dancing Ninja.’ She was born in Georgia, and her interest in acting developed quite early. She made her screen debut in an episode of ‘Disney Channel’s ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ in 2005. Her big-screen debut came about 3 years later, in the 2008 comedy film ‘Lock and Roll Forever.’ Despite being active in the industry for about 1.5 decades, Morris has not been able to find significant success. She mostly appears as a guest star in various series and plays small characters in films. However, she is one of the busiest actors in the American short-film scene. In 2009, she debuted as a producer with the short film ‘The Dragon.’ As a songwriter, she wrote the lyrics of the song ‘Magic’ for the soundtrack of the 2010 thriller film ‘The Devil Within.’ She also performed the song ‘Dance with Darkness’ for the soundtrack of ‘I Kissed a Vampire.’ Currently, she is affiliated with an all-girl group named ‘Girl Group.’

Career
In 2005, Morris made her screen debut in a season-one episode of ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,’ portraying a customer. In the following 2 years, she appeared in four more episodes of the show, playing a different character each time. Her first movie appearance was in the 2008 comedy film ‘Lock and Roll Forever.’ In 2009, she was cast as ‘Police Officer Blackwell’ in the short film ‘The Awakening of Abigail Harris.’ She also produced and starred in the 2009 short film ‘The Dragon.’ Directed by Kelly King, the short comedy–drama revolved around two women realizing that they had much in common despite being complete strangers. The same year, she appeared in the Lucas Grabeel–directed telefilm ‘Regarding: Beauregard.’
In 2010, she shared screen space with Grabeel, David Hasselhoff, and Judy Jung-hwa Kang in the action comedy ‘Dancing Ninja’. In 2013, she guest-starred in a season-four episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ In the short film ‘Chocolate Milk,’ she portrayed a character named ‘Elaine.’ She was cast as ‘Valerie’ in the pilot episode of the comedy series ‘Charlie Murphy’s Law,’ which aired on January 15, 2014. In 2018, she played ‘Alice’ in a ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Twilight’ crossover comedy web series named ‘Buffy Kills Edward.’ She portrayed a party guest in the web series ‘Living Rooms’ in 2019. Morris is set to star in the upcoming short film ‘Red Nose.’ The movie was completed in 2015, but the release date is not known.
On stage, Morris has portrayed ‘Rizzo’ in a production of ‘Grease’ at the ‘Summer Music Theater’ in Missouri. She performed as one of the ‘Manson Trio’ dancers in a production of the musical ‘Pippin’ at the ‘Loretto Hilton Center ‘in Missouri. In ‘Colony Theater’s (California) production of Richard M Sherman and Robert B Sherman’s ‘Merry Go Round,’ she was part of the ensemble cast. She was cast as ‘Snow White’ in Princess Bean’s ‘Messy World,’ held at the ‘Electric Lodge Theater’ in California. In October 2012, Morris essayed the titular role in ‘Pinkalicious, The Musical’ at the ‘Lewis Family Playhouse’ in California. She played ‘Jane’ in ‘ModRock The Musical’ at the ‘El Portal Theater’ in California, from June to July 2013. In June 2013, she was part of the stage reading of ‘The Future Perfect’ at ‘The Pasadena Playhouse’ in California. At the ‘La Fringe Festival,’ she helped stage Jason Robert Brown’s musical ‘Songs for a New World.’ The production won the ‘Robby Award’ for the ‘Best Ensemble’ in 2014. In June 2017, she portrayed ‘Marcy’ in ‘Hudson Theatre’s (California) ‘Dogfight.’ In 2016, she played ‘Allison’ in ‘The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Hocus Pocus’ at the ‘Rockwell Table & Stage’ in California.
A mezzo-soprano, Morris is regularly cast in musicals. In 2010, she sang ‘Dance with Darkness’ for the soundtrack of the ‘iTunes’ vampire rock-musical web series ‘I Kissed a Vampire.’ She also appeared in the series, playing the role of ‘Desiree Damned.’ That year, she penned the lyrics of the song ‘Magic,’ which is part of the soundtrack of the horror–thriller ‘The Devil Within.’

Family & Personal Life
Morris was born on February 10, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, US. She earned her BFA degree in musical theater from ‘Webster University’ in St.Louis, Missouri. She has also received acting lessons from Aaron Galligan-Stierle at the ‘Musical Theater Forum’ in New York and from Warner Loughlin at a workshop in Los Angeles. Furthermore, Morris has undergone “improv” training at the ‘UCB’ and musical “improv” training at ‘The Second City.’ She is adept in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, and swing dance. She also loves beat-boxing.
Morris is currently in a relationship with actor, singer, and filmmaker Lucas Grabeel. They have reportedly been together since 2005.
