Personal Life
She was born as Erin J. White on March 28, 1985 in St.Pauls, North Carolina. She studied sports, medicine, and acting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with full scholarship. She has a younger sister. Her father was a broadcast journalist for 15 years. He would take her in the news van around the town while he chased stories, and the young Erin would watch breaking news "live" from the car’s back seat. She would also take her coloring book with her and play under her father’s news desk. She is a rebel by nature, and went against her father’s wishes. He wanted her to study journalism; instead, she went on a pre-med track, as she wanted to save lives. Simultaneously she studied to be a part-time EMT. While in college, she co-produced and hosted a community TV show, and promptly fell in love with the entertainment industry. She then realized that her father was right, and that she should have studied journalism.
In October 2013, she married Matt Robinson, an interactive entertainment attorney. Matt proposed to her in a vineyard in Italy because that was one place she had always wanted to visit. The duo exchanged vows in a private ceremony in the presence of family members and close friends.
Erin has a passion for pop culture, music, fashion and films. She loves to surf the net for weird things. She also likes to sing and write music in her spare time. Currently she is writing and producing a sophomore album. She is also a philanthropist and often assists in raising funds for children's charities. She has helped to raise over $20,000 for the Matthew Shepard foundation as well.
