Ester Expósito Biography

Ester Exposito knew very early on in her life that she wanted to be an actress. She got her first acting opportunity in 2015 in a short film lilted La Mediadora. It was a short role; however, she scored big with a role in Centro Medico (2016). Centro Medico was a popular Spanish television series and Ester played the role of Rosa Martin. Though she only did one episode in Centro Medico, she was noticed and offered the role of Fernando’s daughter in Locked Up in 2016. Ester appeared in two episodes of Locked Up, one of which was in 2016 and the other one was in 2018.

Her first recurring role was in 2017 in a television series titled, Estoy vivo. She essayed the role of Ruth in this popular crime series with a supernatural twist. Ester featured on eight episodes of this show.

In 2018, Ester Exposito landed the role of Carla Roson Caleruega in Netflix crime series titled, Elite. The show provided a big breakthrough for Ester and has successfully run for four seasons. The show has an interesting plot, which follows the lives of three middle class teenagers who get admission in a prestigious private school in Spain. Their lives are turned upside down when a friction between them and the rich students lead to a murder.

In 2018, Ester was offered the lead role in ‘When Angels Sleep.’ Directed by Gonzalo Bendala, the movie is about the worst night experience that a CEO has after he accidentally runs over a teenage girl whilst returning home from work. The same year, Ester was signed up for a lead role in another movie called Your Son. Ester essayed the role of Andrea in the movie.

In 2019, Ester Exposito appeared in another television series, La caza. Monteperdido. Lucia Castan Grau, Ester’s character in the series, is one of the two girls who mysteriously disappeared five years ago. Ester appeared in seven episodes of this series.

Her next television project was Someone Has to Die, which was released in October 2020. The first season consisted of three episodes and the story revolves around a young rich guy who returns to his home in Spain after ten years. Ester’s character, Cayetana, is central to the series’ plot.

Ester Exposit has also braced the covers of many popular magazines including, In Style Spain, Elle Mexico, Elle Spain, Glamour Mexico, and Bello Magazine.

The latest news from her career front is that she is eager to take up acting projects in Hollywood. She is learning English to brighten up her chances of finding interesting and challenging international projects.

Ester Exposito was born on January 26, 2000, in Madrid Spain. It is not even known whether she has any siblings or not. In her numerous interviews she has always credited her parents for supporting her acting career and for being there for her whenever she needed them.

Information regarding her early education is also missing from the public domain; however, it is a well-known fact that she joined theatre classes after completing her high school. The fact is that Ester decided to become an actress at the young age of four. Once she made up her mind, she was determined to make it work.

As far as her love life is concerned, her Instagram posts clearly shows that she is currently dating Alejandro Speitzer. Before Alejandro, she was in relationship with Alvaro Rico, who co-starred with her in the hit Netflix series Elite. They started dating in 2018 and called it quits in 2019. Her current love interest, Alejandro, is also her co-star in Someone Has to Die, which is where they first met.
