Ethan Kelly's interest in politics dates back to the 2008 Obama-McCain election cycle. He tried to understand the entire election process, candidates, parties and the whole system. In the same year, his visit to a voting booth with his father had a great impact on him. His interest in politics intensified when he was asked to do a school project on '2012 Presidential Race' in the fourth grade. In 2016, he closely monitored the elections, but his analysis went wrong. He has been podcasting since then.

His podcast on elections ‘Let’s Talk Elections’ has generated around 12 million views and more than 33k subscribers. Some of his most popular and entertaining podcasts are the light hearted, facts-based discussions on interesting topics. Some of them are: the results of theoretical matchup of Kanye West vs the sitting president; a Joe Biden vs Donald Trump race and the possibility of Democratic romp during the mid-term of 2018. The first video drew almost 390k views. The 'Hogan Fellowship Program' accepted Ethan’s application and assigned him to work on Mike Pantelides’s mayoral campaign in Annapolis. He went door to door in Bowie, catalogued responses to Hogan's standard set of questions and sent the data to campaign officials. He re-joined the program for Pantelides's re-election campaign.

On TikTok, he has amassed more than 417k fans and 18 million hearts by uploading funny videos with his fake nails. He is also popular on other social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter, with 19k and 1.2k followers, respectively. He created another YouTube channel ‘Ethen Kelly’ on November 25, 2017, where he has amassed 4.3k subscribers by mid-2019. Most of the content on this channel comprises of vlogs about his school life, his campaigns and projects. His first video 'A day in the life of a Sophomore' has gained 14k likes so far. He has a third YouTube channel called ‘Let’s talk Politics’, but he is yet to post any video there.

Ethan Kelly was born on December 3, 2002 in Annapolis, Maryland. His mother, Jakie Kelly, is Filipino, while his father is of Irish descent. He is their only child. After completing his studies at 'Heather Hills Elementary', he was enrolled at 'Eleanor Roosevelt High School' in Greenbelt, where he is a straight A’s student. He is also a member of American Boy Scouts and the swim team at his new school. His mother has been his biggest supporter in all his activities, be it a swimming competition or Hogan's project.
