Everly Tatum Biography

Born to one of the famous Hollywood couples, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, she was a star from the first day. As soon as the news of Jenna’s pregnancy surfaced, the paparazzi were after Channing to know the gender of the baby. Jenna’s Instagram account was then packed with her beautiful pictures, in which she flaunted her baby bump.

Soon after her birth, the couple posted several pictures of their daughter. To their surprise, their daughter became an instant star on the internet. According to Channing, Everly’s birth gave a new dimension to his relationship with Jenna.

Everly was exposed to the glamorous world of Hollywood ever since she turned one. On many occasions, she was seen visiting Studio City in California, along with her mother. She often accompanies her father to the sets of his movies. Everly also attended ‘Magic Mike Live,’ which was organized at the ‘Hard Rock Hotel’ in Las Vegas in 2017. However, Channing doesn’t want his daughter to get involved with the world of acting just yet. In an interview with People, Channing stated that he wants Everly to experience real life before stepping into acting and Hollywood glamor.

Dance holds a great significance in Channing and Jenna’s life as they both met at Jenna’s dance class when she was given the responsibility of training him for his role in ‘Hail, Caesar!’ So, they wanted to pass on this passion to Everly.

Jenna has posted many pictures of Everly, which were clicked during her training sessions. In an interview, Channing said that Everly’s favorite dance form is ‘Tap,’ which happens to be the favorite dance form of her mother as well. He further stated that the kind of dedication that she displays at such a young age is absolutely remarkable. He also appreciates Jenna for her excellent parenting skills.

Jenna truly knows how to strike a balance between her career and motherhood. She is doing her best to raise a responsible kid by imparting moral values to her daughter. Since Jenna is an animal rights activist, she is active in promoting a vegan diet and recommends the same to her daughter as well. She is raising her as a vegan and hopes she chooses to be a vegan for the rest of her life. However, Jenna does not impose it on Everly as she is free to choose her diet.

In an interview given to ‘Women’s Health Magazine,’ she stated that Everly can change her preferences when she grows up, even though she is being fed a vegan diet as of now. The same applies to her career choices as well. Jenna stated that her daughter is free to choose her own profession. As of now, Everly is enjoying her tap dance training and will soon start her training in music as well.

Everly was born Everly Elizabeth Maiselle Tatum on May 31, 2013, in London, England. Her parents changed her name to ‘Everly Tatum’ as they thought her maiden name was too long.

Everly is very close to her grandparents, Glenn and Kay. While Glenn is a construction worker, Kay works for an airline. Her grandparents’ middle-class values have a great impact on Everly’s father, which in turn impacts Everly’s upbringing.

In April 2018, Everly’s parents announced their separation. In October of that year, Jenna filed for divorce which was finalized in late 2019. She is currently engaged to Steve Kazee and the couple has a son named Callum Michael Rebel Kazee.

Jenna is quite emotionally attached to her daughter, so much so, that she had a hard time holding her tears while sending Everly to a sleepaway camp.
