Nicholas Minucci aka Fat Nick is an American rapper and social media star best known for hosting ‘Nick and Pouya Show’ on YouTube alongside his friend Kevin Pouya. Popular for sharing explicit comedic videos and freestyles, the chubby-faced star has finally made a name for himself after going through various struggles. He had a troubled childhood and took to selling drugs as a teenager. As a youth he also developed an interest in music and decided to rebuild his life by pursuing a career as a rapper. He teamed up with Pouya and the boys started rapping together. They began touring as well and were soon releasing their own compositions. Fat Nick is also known for being a part of the duo ‘Buffet Boys’ along with Pouya. Buffet Boys went on to release several collaborations on SoundCloud and gained popularity for their funny raps. In 2015, Nick released his debut studio album ‘Fat Camp,’ which earned him much fame. In the ensuing years, he released a few more hit albums. He enjoys a good fan following across multiple social media platforms, including Twitter, SoundCloud, and Facebook.

Career
At the age of eight, Nick Minucci got signed with a local talent agency named Little Stars. Years later, he was given a small role in the first episode of HBO show ‘The Sopranos.’ After this, he didn’t take up any acting work and decided to enter the rap scene along with his school friend Kevin Pouya. The two went on to make freestyle rap videos and comedic content for their ‘Nick and Pouya Show.’ During this time, Minucci stepped out of his comfort zone and began to compose music independently. He also started touring across the country and eventually built up an audience for his music.
Soon, Minucci and Pouya formed a duo called Buffet Boys and began creating music together as well as independently as solo artistes. Their popular collaborative album called ‘Drop Out of School’ earned them a moderate degree of recognition. In 2015, Minucci, now known as Fat Nick, came up with his debut solo album ‘Fat Camp’ which was followed by ‘When the Lean Runs Out.’ On June 8, 2018, the rapper released his latest composition ‘Generation Numb,’ which featured the hit singles “Ice Out” and “WTF”. His other popular singles include “Drop Em Off”, “TTYL”, "Oh Its Lit ", "Hate on Me", "Stay Alive ", "Middle of the Mall " and "Too Much ", to name a few.
Till date, Fat Nick has also been featured in plenty of music videos including ‘How Do I Look,’ which was produced by Big Los and directed by Max Beck.

Fat Nick was born on September 6, 1994 in Miami. His mother Maria Minucci raised him singlehandedly after his father left the two when Nick was just a toddler. His mother realized early on that Nick was born to perform on the stage and ultimately got him signed to a talent agency. Nick grew up listening to artistes such as Future and Chief Keef and was also inspired by the pop punk bands Taking Back Sunday, Blink-182 and Brand New. Talking about his love life, the rapper has a girlfriend named Janine.
Fat Nick once spoke candidly in an interview about his dream to be a model. He stated that he wanted to model for high-end brands like Hermés and Balenciaga.
