Career

Felipe Neto started posting videos on YouTube, in 2010. His videos became popular in Brazil, so much so that they had collected more than 60 million views by November 2010. After becoming a successful YouTuber in Brazil, Neto landed opportunities to appear in advertising campaigns of famous brands. Subsequently, he went on to become the face of many brands in Brazil. He made his TV debut in December 2010, when he became part of a television show titled ‘Será Que Faz Sentido?’ The following year, he won a couple of awards, including the ‘vlogger of the year’ award at ‘YouPIX.’

In 2011, he founded ‘Paramaker’ in an attempt to change the landscape of Brazilian entertainment. The company was launched in 2012 and quickly became one of the country’s largest YouTube networks. ‘Paramaker’ manages five thousand channels, including popular channels such as ‘Parafernalha’ and ‘IGN Brasil Network.’

Meanwhile, Neto appeared in another TV show titled ‘Até que Faz Sentido’ which was aired in July 2011.

In the summer of 2012, his self-titled YouTube channel became the first Brazilian and Portuguese language channel to reach one million subscribers. In the same year, he was honored with the ‘entertainer of the year’ award at ‘YouPIX.’ In 2013, Neto started appearing in web series, movies, and theatre projects. In the same year, he also published a book titled ‘Não Faz Sentido!’ In 2015, he sold ‘Paramaker’ to a French media company called ‘Webmedia.’

In 2017, he won the ‘Favorite Men YouTuber’ award at the prestigious ‘Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards’ (Brazil).

From 2017 to 2018, he appeared as himself in the theatre production of ‘Felipe Neto Mega Fest.’ In 2018, he played Billy Bold in a movie titled ‘Tudo Por Um Pop Star.’ In the same year, he came up with his autobiography, ‘A Vida Por Trás das Câmeras.’ Felipe Neto is also popular on other social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter where he has millions of followers.

In 2014, Felipe Neto announced that he would be attending a three week course at the ‘Harvard University.’ The objective of attending the three week course was to learn the nuances of entrepreneurship. Neto has a younger brother named Luccas Neto Ferreira. Luccas is also popular on YouTube, and his channel is the 43rd most-subscribed YouTube channel. Felipe Neto currently lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is one of the richest YouTubers in Brazil.
