Fiona Victoria Gubelmann is a popular American actress. She is known for portraying Jenna Mueller in the TV series ‘Wilfred’, Heather Flynn-Kellog in ‘Daytime Divas’, Dr. Morgan Reznick in ‘The Good Doctor’, and Genis Burns in ‘Surprise Me’. A California native, she started acting while she was still in preschool. She also took dance lessons and acted in a ballet version of ‘The Cabbage Patch Kids’. After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in theatre, she furthered her education at Beverly Hills Playhouse, where she studied acting. Gubelmann made her screen debut in an episode of ‘The Mullets’ in 2003. A year later, she had her cinematic debut in ‘Employee of the Month’. Over the course of the following years, she has established herself as one of the most promising stars working in the industry today. In 2003, Fiona Gubelmann made her screen debut in an episode of UPN sitcom ‘The Mullets’, portraying a character credited as the Valley Girl. A year later, she appeared in a season two episode of ‘Cold Case’. She was also cast in the direct-to-video film ‘Blue Demon’ and the short film ‘Honeybunny’ that year. She landed her first cinematic role as well, in the dark comedy ‘Employee of the Month’, playing a character named Amber. In 2005, she appeared in the direct-to-video film ‘Horror High’.
On the small screen, she made a series of guest appearances. She played Darlene Toth in WB’s ‘The Mountain’ (2004), Anna in NBC’s ‘Joey’ (2005), Isabella Cooksey in ‘CSI: NY’ (2007), Lucy in ‘My Name Is Earl’ (2007), Courtney Flynn in ‘Knight Rider’, Lisa Price in ‘The Closer’ and ‘Young Wife in ‘Californication’ (2009).
In 2007, she was cast as Woodland Fairie in the comedy film ‘Blades of Glory.’ Directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, and starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder, ‘Blades of Glory’ is Gubelmann’s biggest feature film to date. The film earned over $140 million at the box office and garnered positive reviews from the critics.
In 2010, she starred in two films, ‘Downstream’ and ‘Sex Tax: Based on a True Story’. In 2011, he landed the role of Jenna Mueller in the Australian-American TV comedy ‘Wilfred’. Based on a popular Australian comedy of the same name, the series aired for four seasons between June 2011 and August 2014 on FX and FXX. Gubelmann’s Mueller is a charming television personality who is often the unwilling sufferer of the antics of her dog, Wilfred, and her neighbour, Ryan Newman.
While ‘Wilfred’ was airing, Gubelmann continued to make cameo appearances in shows like ‘Parenthood’ (2011), ‘Criminal Minds’ (2012), ‘Family Guy’ (2012), ‘Animal Practice’ (2013), and ‘Modern Family’ (2014). In 2017, she portrayed Lori in Netflix’s ‘One Day at a Time’. She also played the outspoken co-host of the fictitious daytime television show ‘The Lunch Hour,’ Heather Flynn-Kellog, in the short-lived satirical comedy-drama ‘Daytime Divas’. In 2018, she began portraying the recurring character Dr. Morgan Reznick in the season one of ABC’s medical drama ‘The Good Doctor’. In season two, she joined the main cast.
In 2018, she shared screen space with Australian actor Ben Lawson in romantic comedy ‘The Way We Weren't’.

Born on March 30, 1980, in Santa Monica, California, USA, Gubelmann has been dancing and acting since she was in preschool. Her mother hired a dance teacher for her. At the age of four, she acted in her first play, a production of the ballet version of ‘The Cabbage Patch Kids’. Throughout her childhood and young adulthood, she went to drama camp every year, played various roles in local community theatre, and was part of the drama department at her school.
After graduating from Torrey Pines High School in Del Mar, California, she started attending the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), pursuing a degree in pre-medicine. However, she later decided to major in theatre. Gubelmann finished her education at UCLA in 2002 and subsequently enrolled at Beverly Hills Playhouse to study acting and got the opportunity to act in plays with the organization's Katselas Theater Company.
Gubelmann has a sister named Alex. She is married to actor Alex Weed, whom she met while they were both attending UCLA. In 2014, the couple appeared together in an episode of the ‘House Hunters’ spin-off ‘House Hunters Renovation’.
