Gabriel Zamora was born on March 10, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, USA. When he was 12 years old, his parents moved to Houston, Texas, where he spent his teenage years along with his siblings. After graduating from high school, he went to ‘San Jacinto College’ where he studied marketing. Not happy with his 9 to 5 job, Zamora returned to Los Angeles in an attempt to establish a career in the fashion and beauty industry. Drawing inspiration from his idol Patrick Starrr, he created a YouTube channel on April 7, 2014, and started posting makeup videos. Subsequently, he was encouraged by entrepreneur and designer Lilly Ghalichi who hired him to work as a social media coordinator for her fashion brand ‘Lilly Lashes.’

Meanwhile, his YouTube videos started gathering views, making him popular on social media. His popularity increased when he became the first male stylist for ‘Ipsy.’ In 2017, he became one of the ten makeup artists from around the world to be selected by ‘MAC Cosmetics’ as part of a project. According to the project, the selected makeup artists were asked to design their own lipstick for a limited edition collection.

He then started collaborating with popular makeup artists to come up with interesting videos for his self-titled YouTube channel. Currently, his channel has millions of views and thousands of subscribers. He is also popular on Instagram where he has more than 950,000 followers. He also has a secondary Instagram page which has managed to collect more than 20,000 followers. His Twitter page, which he created on December 25, 2008, has gathered more than 400,000 followers. Gabriel Zamora is also famous on other social media platforms, such as Facebook and Snapchat. Apart from being a social media influencer and makeup artist, he is also an entrepreneur, as he sells hoodies and T-shirts online.

Family & Personal Life

Gabriel Zamora is a self-proclaimed gay. He revealed in one of his interviews that his family members, including his mother and siblings, were supportive of his sexual orientation. Though his father found it difficult to accept the truth initially, he took some time before coming to terms with the realty.

Zamora is close to his mother and often features her on his social media pages. He is of mixed ethnicity as his parents emigrated from Mexico to the United States of America before his birth.
