Gage Butler was born on April 11, 2008, in Utah, United States of America. He was born into a family of social media stars. His uncle Shay Carl was already a popular social media star and hence Gage Butler was introduced to the world of social media at a very young age.

Since Gage’s father, Casey, was a hunter, he taught Gage how to aim a gun when he was just four years old. As a kid, Gage was encouraged to play outside, rather than spending time in front of a TV or video games. In fact, his parents never allowed Gage to play video games which showcased violence and gore.

Gage loves to spend his time with his siblings. His siblings, Brailee Butler, Winston Butler, and Layla Jane Butler are all close to him and they all love spending time with Gage. His siblings too have appeared in a number of videos, posted by their parents.

In one of the videos, Gage confessed to his mother that he does not like girls, which came across as a surprise to his mother, Kayli Butler. However, she chose not to speak about his sexuality as Gage was still very young when he confessed about his dislike towards girls.

Gage is close to his mother. When his father took him to Canada for a few days, he could not wait to get back home. When he did, he could not hold himself back from giving his mother a tight hug.

He is also close to his cousins, who all are YouTube stars in their own right. His cousins, Daxton, Avia, Gavin, Brock, and Emmi often appear on their father’s family YouTube channel, ‘Shaytards.’
