Gilmher Croes Bio

Gilmher Croes was born on July 7, 1993, in Aruba, a small Dutch Caribbean island off Venezuela coast. He grew up along with his brother, in Oranjestad, the capital city of Aruba. After graduating high school, Gilmher was enrolled at the ‘University of Aruba’ in downtown Oranjestad. After completing his education, Gilmher chose to become a model. He also started posting sketch comedy videos on Facebook, which earned him social media fame. He then shifted his focus to TikTok, where he started posting comical videos. His Jim Carrey-like expressions and funny body language earned him thousands of followers initially and it gradually turned into millions. Today, he has followers across various social media platforms and is one of the most famous Aruban internet stars going around.

Gilmher Croes had a flying start to his TikTok career. Thanks to his hilarious lip-sync videos, his account started attracting a lot of fans, which enabled him accumulate a million fans in a short period of time. Simultaneously, he started venturing out to try his hand at other social media platforms, including Twitter. After posting videos exclusively on TikTok for more than two years Gilmher finally created a YouTube channel on September 29, 2014. Two years later, he came up with another YouTube channel titled ‘CroesBros’ by collaborating with his younger brother Jayden Croes. While his self-titled channel currently has more than 80,000 subscribers, ‘CroesBros’ has managed to accumulate over 750,000 subscribers.

On August 11, 2017, Gilmher and Jayden posted a video on their collaborative YouTube channel, which featured the popular American YouTube star Rebecca Zamolo. The video went on to accumulate well over 6.5 million views and remains as one of the most viewed videos on their channel. With more than 24 million views for all its videos, ‘CroesBros’ is one of the most popular YouTube channels in Aruba. In June 2017, Gilmher got an opportunity to perform at ‘VidCon US’ in ‘Anaheim Convention Center,’ California. Gilmher is also famous on Instagram, as he has more than 835,000 followers on the platform.

Gilmher Croes’ popularity as a social media star eventually earned him opportunities to display his talent in short films. The year 2015 turned out to be an important one for Gilmher as he won the ‘Best Male Actor’ award at ‘Aruba Short Film Festival.’ He was also named Aruba’s ‘Social Media Star’ for the year 2015. Gilmher Croes is currently recognized as one of the top comedians in Aruba.

Gilmher Croes is very close to his family. He gets to spend a lot of time with his younger brother Jayden Croes as he collaborates with him for most of his videos. He also has a sister named Roxanne. The siblings and their parents Susanne and Gilbert Croes get to spend a lot of time with each other as they all live close by. Gilmher loves his niece and nephew and has even posted their pictures on his social media pages. Apart from making videos, he loves getting inked. He has a number of tattoos all over his body and his Instagram page displays a few pictures that depict his love for tattoos.
