Gina Kimmel Biography

Gina was born Gina Maddy, on December 13, 1964, in the US. She is from Hoffman Estates, a village in Illinois, US. Gina attended 'Northern Illinois University' and graduated in 1985, with a degree in business and history. Later, she earned a degree in communications and journalism from 'Arizona State University.'

In 1999, Gina appeared on the 'Comedy Central' show 'The Man Show.' Gina appeared in a total of 17 episodes of the series, from 1999 to 2002. The show made her popular and helped her establish herself in the industry. In 2012, she appeared in two TV movies, namely, 'Party Like the Queen of France' and 'Party Like the Rich and Famous.'

Apart from being an active TV personality, Gina has also worked as a freelance costume designer in the American film industry. She is the owner of the lingerie and nightwear business named 'Maddy James Inc. Vintage Loungewear.' Based in Chicago, the label offers an exclusive range of vintage nightgowns inspired by the fashion of the bygone era, primarily from the 1920s to the 1960s. The company was funded by Brooklyn-based public-benefit corporation 'Kickstarter,' which raised $16,000 to help Gina launch the line. She conceived the idea of the venture when she identified the lack of stores offering elegant and affordable nightwear. Gina moved to Chicago after her divorce in 2003 and studied fashion at 'Harper College' in Palatine. She named the company after her father, James Maddy

Gina was married to popular American TV host Jimmy Kimmel. She met Jimmy for the first time while studying at 'Arizona State University.' They got married on June 25, 1988. Gina was in her early twenties then. She revealed in an interview that her decision to marry so young was inspired by her mother, who got married at the tender age of 19.

Gina and Jimmy’s wedding was a low-key affair, and only their close relatives and friends attended the event.

In 1991, Gina gave birth to their daughter, Katherine Kimmel. She became the mother of their second child, her son, Kevin Kimmel, 2 years later.

Gina and Jimmy had a blissful married life for about 15 years. Unfortunately, they parted ways in 2002. They share the custody of their children.
