Gio Latooy Bio

Gio Latooy made his YouTube debut in September 2012 when he created his channel, GameplayWorldXL. His first video was “Far Cry 3: Being Friends with Sharks (Dutch).” Initially, he used to mostly share video game content on his channel. However, he later shifted to making vlogs, challenge videos, and pranks which earned him a fair amount of traction on YouTube. He also changed the name of his channel to Gio. The most-watched video on his channel is titled “WIE KAN HET BESTE KONTSLAAN & HOEVAAK GEZOEND?! - Q&A MET JASPER EN ZUS.”

Gio Latooy launched his second YouTube channel, Gio2, in May 2017. Here, he hosts gameplay content related to the life simulation video game series, SIMS which entertains over 115k subscribers. He also features on his family channel, De Latooys, along with his parents and sister

Gio Latooy made his big-screen debut in the 2017 Dutch family film Storm: Letters of Fire. That same year, he also portrayed ‘Tim’ in the film ‘Misfit,’ directed by Erwin van den Eshof. Since then, he has starred in films like Dylan Haegens' Film (2018), Misfit 2 (2019), and Project Gio (2019). He last appeared in the Dutch television series Zapp detective in 2021.

Gio Latooy was born to Marcel and Louise Latooy on September 24, 1998, in the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands. He has a sister named Melanie. His parents and sister have appeared in some of his videos. He is currently dating fellow YouTube star and Instagram model Jade Anna Van Vliet. Gio’s zodiac sign is Libra.
