She is also the creator of Momastery, an online community. Besides these, Melton is the president and founder of a non-profit organization named Together Rising. Talking about her writing achievements, she has written for ‘Reader's Digest,’ ‘Family Circle’ and ‘Woman's Day.’ In September 2016, her book ‘Love Warrior’ was chosen to be a part of the Oprah's Book Club 2.0. In 2009, Glennon Doyle Melton started her online writing career with the creation of the blog named Momastery. Within a few years’ time, her writing gained immense popularity, thanks to her funny and conversational tone of writing! In 2011, her memoir titled ‘Carry On, Warrior’ was published. The memoir became a huge success which ultimately led to the growth of Melton’s social media audience. Two years later, the memoir ‘Carry On, Warrior’ earned the ‘Books for a Better Life Best Relationship Award’. It also went on to be a finalist for the Goodreads Choice Awards in the category ‘Best Memoir & Autobiography’.
Due to her increasing online popularity, she was invited to give a TEDx talk in 2013. In her talk titled ‘Lessons from the Mental Hospital,’ she discussed the emotional problems she faced as a teen and what she learned during the time she spent in a mental hospital while recovering from her psychological issues.
In 2014, she and her blog Momastery received an award for ‘Best All-Around at Social Media’ from Parents Magazine. The American author wrote the book ‘Love Warrior’ in 2016. This book was selected to be a part of Oprah's Book Club 2.0. Currently, Melton also serves as a professional public speaker.
