Gus De St. Jeor Bio

Following the footsteps of his popular cousins from the Lynch family known for the ‘R5’ band, Gus De St. Jeor formed several similar groups with his three younger brothers Gordy, Gil and Gator since the early 2010s. They had made the YouTube channel The Gs on July 31, 2012 and started sharing song covers, music videos, short films, parody videos, skits and other types of content in mid-2015. They were also present on most other social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Musical.ly and SnapChat. They were active on The Gs profiles up until 2018 and had reached 18.7k followers on Instagram and nearly 5k subscribers on YouTube. They were briefly known as The GBoys during early 2016, but ditched the moniker shortly after and instead became known as THE GANG, the alias by which they are currently recognized on their active YouTube channel created in October 2016.

Later in 2016, they also formed the group G's and the Girls with dancer Kyla Laufer, girlfriend of Gus, and her sister Sophy Laufer. The group was later expanded to include twin sisters and dancers Sierrah and Raynah Hudson the next year. In May 2017, the group gained recognition for performing a dance routine to the song I Need A Hero from the 2011 film, Footloose, choreographed by their famous cousin Rydel Lynch. They again collaborated with her on Justin Timberlake’s Can't Stop The Feeling, but the video of that dance was later made private. While the group seems to be disbanded now, Kyla regularly makes appearances with Gus on THE GANG channel. Apart from the group channel, Gus is also active on his personal Instagram, Twitter and TikTok profiles.

Gus De St. Jeor, who was mentioned as an actor back in 2012 on The Gs YouTube channel, has tried his hand at acting on television series, as well as several short films and music videos, some of which he also produced. He appeared in an episode of My Dance Vlog Is Haunted in May 2017 as part of the group G's and the Girls. In 2018, he acted alongside his cousin Riker Lynch in the short comedy film Lyft Me Up. In 2019, he produced, wrote and acted in the short film Night Shift, which marked the directorial debut of his brother Gordy.

During 2019-20, he appeared as Jonathan Dixon in nine episodes of the Disney comedy series Coop and Cami Ask the World. He produced many music videos for songs by Riker Lynch’s musical group Riker and The Beachcombers, including She Just Wants to Be Famous, Sex On The Beach and My Girl Rita, while also acting in the first one. In 2021, he was seen alongside Riker, Rydel, Gordy and Gil in Riker’s short film Aliens on Halloween.

Gus De St. Jeor was born on April 4, 2001 in the United States and was raised in Los Angeles, California. His parents are Anthony and Angela De St. Jeor. He is the eldest of four children of his parents and has brothers Gordy (b. August 8, 2002), Gil (b. June 21, 2004) and Gator (b. July 23, 2006). His ancestors were originally from France who had immigrated to America six generations ago and settled in Idaho. Stormie Lynch from the popular Lynch family is his paternal aunt, through whom he has cousins Riker, Rydel, Rocky, Ross, and Ryland, among whom the eldest four are known for their pop rock band ‘R5’.

Gus De St. Jeor attended California State University, Northridge and became the first in the family to complete college graduation in 2022. Since June 2016, Gus has been in a relationship with Kyla Laufer, a dancer known for her participation in ‘America's Got Talent’ and the ‘Kid's Choice Awards’. They uploaded a vlog on THE GANG channel on their 5th anniversary in 2021.
