Hallie Jackson is an American political reporter and analyst. Currently, she is the chief ‘White House’ correspondent for ‘NBC News’ and an anchor for a number of news shows on ‘MSNBC’ (cable division of ‘NBC’). Born and raised in Pennsylvania, US, she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the ‘John Hopkins University.’ After initially working in few cities in Maryland, Delaware, and Connecticut, for the TV stations ‘WBOC’ and ‘WFSB’ (affiliates of ‘CBS’), Jackson joined ‘Hearst Corporation’ and reported to all their 26 stations across the country from Washington, DC. Following this, she joined ‘NBC News’ (in 2014), and for a year, she worked at the ‘NBC’ station in Los Angeles. Later, with her excellent coverage of various election campaigns and the 2016 presidential elections, she earned the reputation of a dedicated political correspondent. She is recognized as a hard-working and versatile reporter. Some of her major assignments have been the coverage of the presidential campaign of Senator Ted Cruz and exclusive interviews with important ‘GOP’ candidates. In 2017, ‘NBC’ appointed Jackson as their chief ‘White House’ correspondent. She is married to Douglas Hitchner and is a mother of two daughters.
