Hannah Ware is an English actress who rose to prominence after portraying the character of ‘Emma Kane’ in the political drama series ‘Boss’. She made her acting debut in the early 2010s and since has appeared in a few films, playing mainly supporting roles. In her debut film ‘Cop Out,’ she played the minor role of Mrs. Armisen. On television, however, Ware has played more significant roles over the years. She has appeared in important roles in all the three shows she has been part of till date, including the popular hit drama ‘Betrayal’. Hannah Ware was also featured in the television show ‘The First’ as a series regular. Her role of a young drug addict in the series ‘Boss’ gained her much acclaim and helped her establish herself in the American TV industry.

Hannah Rose Ware made her acting debut in 2010 when she received an offer to feature alongside Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan in the action comedy film ‘Cop Out’. She played a small role, ‘Mrs. Armisen’, in the film that became the then-highest grossing film of the director Kevin Smith’s career. A year later, Ware received her first offer to play a role on television. She was approached by the makers of the political drama series ‘Boss’ which ran on Starz network. She appeared as ‘Emma Kane’, the estranged daughter of Tom Kane, the mayor of Chicago. Hannah Ware was a series regular on the show which ran for 18 episodes between 2011 and 2012.
Her work on the show was appreciated by many and helped her kick-start her career in the show business.
In 2011, Ware featured in her second film, ‘Shame’, a British drama film. The film was written and directed by Academy Award winner Steven Rodney McQueen and featured Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan in lead roles. Two years after her debut on television, Ware received a lead role in the television show ‘Betrayal’. Her character of ‘Sara Hanley’, a photographer, begins an affair with a lawyer, ‘Jack McAllister,’ played by Stuart Townsend. The affair between the lead characters—who are both married to other people—forms the base for an interesting storyline.
In 2015, Ware featured in the action thriller film ‘Hitman: Agent 47’ as ‘Katia van Dees’, the ‘Agent 90’. She appeared opposite Rupert Friend in the film which also featured Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds, Thomas Kretschmann, and Angelababy. The film didn’t receive positive reviews but grossed over $80 million at the box office on its $35 million budget. She also featured in the drama film ‘Aftermath’ alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maggie Grace, and Martin Donovan. The film did not do well commercially.
Hannah Ware appeared in the Channel 4 drama show ‘The First’ as ‘Sadie Hewitt’, an astronaut chosen to visit Mars. The show was created by Beau Willimon and featured Sean Penn, Natascha McElhone, LisaGay Hamilton, Keiko Agena, and James Ransone in lead roles.
