Hayley Orrantia Biography

Hayley Orrantia is an American actress, singer and songwriter. Most people recognise her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series ‘The Goldbergs’. However, she considers herself primarily a musician. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something that she started dabbling in since she was only 9 years old. By the time she turned 12, music became serious enough for her to start training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her first album of cover songs. Since then there has been no looking back. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking only English and has never lived in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic heritage. She endeavours to keep it alive by learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the language. ‘Hasta Verte’ a song she recorded in Spanish is one such attempt.
