Ilyne Nash became known to the public after her relationship with NFL star Dez Bryant surfaced. In fact, the two have been with each other for more than a decade now. Nash often shares their romantic moments on social media, including Instagram. The two were in news in 2013 after Nash's graduation ceremony was attended by both Bryant and their son Dez. From time to time, rumours about Bryant's alleged relationships with other women have also surfaced, bringing the couple unwanted media attention. But the most damaging rumour was about a video that allegedly showed Bryant manhandling Nash in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in 2011. Controversy has been surrounding Ilyne Nash and Dez Bryant ever since they came into the media glare. In 2015, a rumour spread that a domestic altercation took place between the couple in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in 2011, and that it was captured on video. The police report suggested that Bryant allegedly dragged Nash from one car to another. It was even dubbed Bryant's "Ray Rice" moment, after the footballer who was arrested and charged with assault for a physical altercation with his then girlfriend around the same time. The police report, however, concluded that there was no offense and all parties were advised that they were free to go. The video never actually surfaced, but Dez’s Dallas Cowboys career didn’t survive the scandal. He has now joined the New Orleans Saints team.

Then in 2013, one Briana Hooks posted her pictures with Bryant on her Twitter account. Subsequently, rumours started making rounds that Bryant was dating both Hooks and Nash at the same time. In fact, from time to time, reports regarding Bryant's supposed dalliances kept emerging, including with rapper Trina.

Reportedly, Bryant has another son named Zayne from a previous relationship.

Ilyne Nash was born on July 27, 1986, to Kyong Lee and Roosevelt Nash Jr in Killeen, Texas. She spent most of her early childhood days in the same city, about 70 miles from Austin. She attended the Robert M Shoemaker High School, before graduating from the University of Texas in 2013. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the university. Her life partner Dez Bryant and their son Dez Jr were present during her graduation ceremony.

It is unclear when Nash met Bryant or whether they are still together. The two, however, have two children -- Dez Jr (born on June 25, 2010) and Isabella Rose (born on December 5, 2015). The family lives in Bryant's Texas mansion.
