Ione Skye is a British-American actress, author, and painter, who is best known for her work in films like ‘Say Anything...’, 'Wayne's World', and 'One Night Stand' and TV shows like ‘Covington Cross’ and ‘Arrested Development’. As a painter, she is steadily gaining reputation, and her works have been shown in Tokyo and Los Angeles. After her birth in London, her parents separated. Ione Skye was subsequently raised by her mother in Los Angeles and San Francisco and also spent part of her childhood in Connecticut. She had her screen debut in the 1986 classic film ‘River's Edge’. Her TV debut occurred in the following year in the television miniseries ‘Napoleon and Josephine: A Love Story’. In the late 1980s, she was one of the most prominent teenage stars working in the entertainment industry. While her popularity has waned since then, she is still active as an actress. In 2018, she appeared in the HBO show ‘Camping’. She released her children’s book, ‘My Yiddish Vacation’, in 2014.
