Isidora Goreshter Biography

Isidora Goreshter is an American actor who is best known for her performance as ‘Svetlana’ in the TV series ‘Shameless.’ Her family had migrated to the US from the former Soviet Union. She was the first one in her family to be born in the US. She began her acting career at an early age. She had started performing on stage when she was only 3 years old. She studied acting and also managed to earn university degrees in theater and art history. Growing up, Goreshter was a gymnast who competed and won medals at state-level gymnastic competitions. She is also a trained ballet dancer. She ventured into acting with some prestigious theater productions, which included ‘Broadway’ plays. She has worked in films such as ‘Paranoia’ and on TV shows as ‘Two Broke Girls.’ ‘Shameless’ was one of her longest stints on TV, and ‘Svetlana’ has been her most widely recognized character. She also goes by the name of “Isidora Gray.”
