Jacob Dever started out on TikTok in 2020. Initially, he hosted humor-centric skits which earned him some attention on the platform. Sometime later, he came out with doorbell pranks where he would perform various antics at the doorbell camera of his neighbors, friends, and random strangers. His content went wild and viral on TikTok and he was soon joined by millions of followers.

Jacob made his first big-screen appearance in the 2018 horror film Camp Cold Brook, directed by Andy Palmer. In 2021, he starred as ‘Alex’ in the Emily Dell-directed mystery-thriller television film Killer Infatuation. That same year, he also made an appearance in films like My Terrorized Teen, Cheer for Your Life, and Deadly Debutantes: A Night to Die For. He will be next seen in the upcoming drama film Interior Lives where he will play the role of ‘Pratt.’
