The Meteoric Rise to Stardom
Before she stepped into Tinsel town, she took gymnastics and dance lessons for around eleven years. On moving to California before the completion of high school she was offered many modeling assignments and made it to the cover page of ‘Teen Magazine’. However, when she was approached with a modeling contract based in Japan, she had to seek legal emancipation from her parents as none could accompany her on the trip. Thus began her career as a model, she made it to the covers of several international magazines such as ‘Playboy’, ‘Maxim’ and ‘Allure’. Around the same time she was offered recurring and minor roles in TV series and films such as Violet in the 1997 film ‘Poison Ivy: The New Seduction’, she played Audrey in the TV series ‘Jack and Jill’ and was cast in ‘Not Another Teen Movie’ and ‘Joe Dirt’ in 2001. The following year ‘Stuff’ magazine ranked her eighth out of ‘102 Sexiest Women of the World’.
With her initial success she launched her own bikini line called ‘J’Aime’ which later developed into a full clothing line.
She reached the pinnacle of her career in 2005 when she was cast as Joy Turner in the NBC sitcom ‘My Name is Earl’ for which she won an Emmy and was nominated for Golden Globe. Since then she has appeared in many Music Videos such as ‘Girls of Summer’ by Aerosmith, a cover of ‘Tainted Love’ and more.
Her recent performances in the lead role of ‘Jennifer Falls’, ‘I Hate My Teenage Daughter’ and as Megan in the film ‘A Haunted House 2’ have been spectacular.

She is a professional gymnast and an outstanding dancer. After establishing her career, she met DJ Eric Calvo in 1996 and dated him for a couple of years. She had her first son, Dezi James Calvo, from him in 2007. However, shortly after the birth of their son, the couple split.
