Jake Webber started his social media career on Vine in 2013. When Vine was at the height of its popularity, Jake started uploading nonsensical, funny and creative skits on it just like many other millennials. His pursuit of fame was soon rewarded by Vine users who loved his content. In no time, he reached the milestone of 100k followers. In 2014, he also became part of MAGCON Next, which was a meet and greet convention that allowed fans to meet social media celebrities. By 2016, Jake had amassed more than 500k followers on Vine. By the time the app shut down in October 2016, the young Viner had gained more than 825k followers.

Vine’s shutdown hit many content creators very hard, and Jake Webber was no exception. But just like other Viners, he did not hesitate from making the switch to YouTube, where he already had a channel since April 3, 2014. However, he did not post any videos there, until it became clear that Vine was nearing its end. Luckily, for him, he had a loyal fan base. His popularity on Instagram, also helped him reach out to his fans. Jake Webber’s first YouTube video titled Ghost Pepper Gummy Bear Prank on Sister was posted on October 7, 2015. While the video has received more than 76k views, there was nothing original about its content.

Over the next few years, Jake invested more time into conceptualizing his YouTube videos. His content like Using a Fake ID (looks nothing like me!), Ouija Board Abandoned Amusement Park (ran from cops), and Sledding down Escalators with Sam and Colby generated thousands of views. His popularity on YouTube started increasing in 2017. It all started with the video Psycho Stalker Prank (he almost hit her with a bat) Prank Wars, published on July 5, 2017. The collaborative video, featuring other YouTubers like Colby Brock, Elton Castee, Sam Golbach, Corey Schererm, and social media influencers like Katrina Stuart, Gabby Leblanc, garnered more than 600k views.

Most of his collaborative videos like Beanie Boy - Jake Webber & Colby Brock (Music Video) and Alien Scare Prank with Sam Golbach have received thousands of views. For a while after that, none of his content could cross even the 50k mark. He had mixed success in all his 2017 videos. His 2017 music video Got Damn No (Gotdamnzo Diss Track), published on November 15, in which he targeted Instagram star iamzoie or GotDamnZo, received decent views. But, How to Achieve Internet Stardom like Keaton Jones (posted in December 2017) received poor response.

Jake Webber had a better luck on YouTube in 2018, especially when he started collaborating with other YouTubers. Videos like Reacting to Photoshopped Pictures of us W/ Roommates and Slingshot of Death W/ Sam and Colby were instant hits. Reacting to Funny Video Memes of us W/ Roommates, published on February 28, 2018, became and remains the most popular Jake Webber video with more than 4.6 million views to its credit.

In 2019, he was seen in the YouTube web series The Reality House. Presently, he has over 1 million subscribers to his YouTube channel.

Jake Webber was born on June 11, 1998, in Kansas, USA to Jack and Lora Webber. Ryan Webber and Reggie Webber are his elder brothers, while Jillian Webber is his sister. He is in a relationship with Instagrammer Tarayummy since 2019.
