Jason Derulo is an American singer-songwriter who rose to international fame with his debut single ‘Whatcha Say’ which peaked at No. 1 in the U.S. and New Zealand, and sold over five million digital downloads. He released his much anticipated second single shortly and its immediate success made him one of the hottest singing stars in the world. Born to Haitian parents in Florida, Jason developed an early interest in music after being exposed to a variety of musical genres at a young age. He started singing as a little boy and became fascinated with creating his own lyrics. Blessed with a creative mind and a knack for playing with words, he started writing songs when he was just eight!
