Jay Versace grew up in a family which has its roots in Africa. He was brought up by his step-father who died of an illness in 2014. He always wanted to be an actor and a comedian when he grew up. At school he would make all the students, teachers and others laugh with the impersonations he made of various celebrities in different fields. He would enact what they had said or done in his own funny way which would make everybody laugh. His mother was the first person who inspired him to impersonate her in a video and upload it to the internet. He got a love for classical music from his grandmother and became familiar with the various personalities in the music world. Later he impersonated many of these personalities in his videos. He moved from New Jersey to California where he resides currently.
