Jaylen Barron Biography

Jaylen Barron started her career as a model at an early age and appeared in both digital media as well as print media publications. During her stint as a model, she was encouraged to try her luck in acting. Thus, she stopped modeling and started taking acting lessons. She appeared in local theaters and sometimes played the lead role in small productions during the early phase of her acting career.

In 2012, she finally got the chance to appear on television when she was picked for the role of ‘Ashley Otton’ in the crime-comedy-drama series ‘Bones - The Bone Hunter’ by Hart Hanson. She then appeared in ‘Shake It Up - Dancing is Everything’, a Disney sitcom, as ‘Melanie’ in the same year.

Between 2012 and 2013, Barron made eight appearances in the comedy family drama series ‘See Dad Run’ by Tina Albanese and Patrick Labyorteaux. She was cast in the role of ‘Lauren Dabney’ in five episodes between 2013 and 2014. She was cast as ‘Dominique’ in the comedy-drama series ‘Shameless,’ which was created by John Wells and Paul Abbott. Barron was part of the show for a total of 14 episodes in the 2016 season. She then began appearing in the Netflix original series ‘Free Rein’ as ‘Zoe’ in 2017. Barron is one of the lead characters in the show that also features Celine Buckens, Freddy Carter, Manpreet Bambra, Bruce Herbelin-Earle, and Kerry Ingram.

Jaylen Barron was born in Reno, Nevada, on March 3, 1998. She has a younger sister named Sofia Barron who is also an actress by profession.
