A naturally gifted comedian and artiste, Jazmine Hood was looking for a perfect outlet for her creativity when she came across Vine. The concept of six-second-long videos really intrigued her. After consideration, she set up her Vine account and posted her first video, titled Welcome Loved Ones, on May 4, 2013. Due to her comedic timing and creativity, it did not take her long to garner a large audience for herself. At the height of her popularity, she had amassed 1.7 million followers, which effectively made her a member of Vine’s “million followers club.”

When Vine shut down in 2016, most popular Viners just faded away. Lil Perfect did not. She already had a YouTube account that she had set up on April 28, 2013. While she has been uploading videos on the channel since May 2013, it was only after Vine had closed down for good that she turned her attention to make the channel a success. Her YouTube channel was formerly called Perfectlaughs now it is known as imLilPerfect. Jazmine Hood has accumulated more 3.18 million subscribers on her main channel. She also has a secondary channel, Jazz and Tae, which she runs with her former partner Tae Caldwell. Created on August 7, 2013, the channel has garnered 3.99 million subscribers. She mainly posts comedy videos, pranks, and challenge videos on this channel. She is also quite popular on Instagram where she has 2.1 million followers.

On October 22, 2017, the track For Everybody, in which she collaborated with Ar'mon and Trey, was released on her channel. Jazmine Hood put out her second track, How You Living, on 14 December 2017. On March 2, 2018, she uploaded her track, Like Me’, on her channel.

Jazmine Hood was born on October 7, 1996, in Little Rock, Arkansas, US. A number of her family members, including her parents, brother, and younger cousin have been featured in her videos. She was in a relationship with fellow YouTuber Tae Cadwell.

She dated fellow social media influencer and broadcaster Tae Caldwell. She later began dating fellow social media star Itsreallycrystal.
