As a teenager, Jena Sims participated in several beauty pageant competitions, and was crowned 'Miss Georgia Junior National Teenager' in 2004. The following year, she won the 'Miss Junior National Teenager' title. She next participated in the 'Miss Georgia Teen USA 2006' pageant event, but was eliminated in the semi-finals. She again attempted for the title the next year, and finally on November 11, 2006, was crowned the 'Miss Georgia Teen USA 2007' in Newnan.

In August 2007, she represented Georgia in the 'Miss Teen USA 2007' pageant, which was broadcast live from Pasadena, California. The television exposure she got led her to more modeling and acting jobs. She appeared in a bunch of uncredited television roles in series such as 'Entourage' and 'Dexter' in 2010. However, her career in the entertainment field got a kick-start in 2012, when she made her film debut with the main role of Cassie in 'Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader'. Since then she has shared screen with actors like Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and Jeremy Renner in the movies 'Last Vegas' and 'Kill the Messenger', and appeared in a couple 'Sharknado' movies.

Philanthropy

Jena Sims is well-known for her charity work, and runs a non-profit organization that hosts the beauty pageant titled 'Pageant of Hope', which allows children with cancer and other disadvantages participate in the event. She won the 'Prudential Spirit of Community Award' in 2003 for her community work. In 2006, she was honored with a 'Southern Hero Award' and received an award from the Caring Institute in Washington DC, for her work with children with cancer. She was one of 27 teenagers to receive the 'Nestle Very Best In Youth' award in 2008. Even her organization has won multiple prestigious awards throughout the past decade.

Jena Michelle Sims was born on December 30, 1988 in Winder, Georgia, United States. She attended Winder-Barrow High School, from where she graduated in 2007. She studied International Business at the Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, but left the course midway to move to Hollywood, California to pursue a career in modeling and acting. She did cheerleading for six years during her teenage days. She is also a good dancer with over 15 years of experience. She currently resides in Sherman Oaks, California. Interestingly, her father is a very good golfer, so she understands the game well and also likes to "dabble" in it.

Jena Sims began dating actor Robert Buckley, known for the series 'Lipstick Jungle' and 'One Tree Hill', sometime in 2011. However, it was a short-lived affair as the couple called it quits in 2012, after dating for about ten-and-a-half months. She later met pro golfer Brooks Koepka at the 2015 Masters Tournament on Hole 7, the details of which she eventually forgot, but Koepka remembered. They didn't start dating immediately, as Koepka was at the time in a relationship with soccer player Becky Edwards. However, they remained friends, and later began dating after he broke up with Edwards in December 2016.

Jena Sims often toured with Brooks Koepka in the following months to cheer for him during his high profile games and also shared pictures with him on social media regularly. However, she suddenly got a lot of unwanted attention following Koepka's win at the U.S. Open at Erin Hills after Fox's Joe Buck misidentified her as Koepka's ex-girlfriend Becky Edwards. The clip of the gaffe was all over the internet and also reached her eventually via social media, but fortunately it did not affect them in any way as they were busy celebrating his win in Las Vegas.
