Jenna von Oÿ Biography

Jenna von Oy’s acting career began at the age of five when she acted in a local stage production of Annie. She charmed her audience and at the age of six she landed the famous Jell-O Pudding Pop commercial, which co-starred Bill Cosby. She followed that up with many other commercials. She even did a mini-series and some soaps. In 1986, she landed her first television break when she appeared in an episode of ABC Weekend Special.

However, her big break came in 1989, when she essayed the role of young Suzanne in the movie Born on the Fourth of July. The movie, with Tom Cruise in the main lead, was a huge success. In 1990, she got the role of Kelly Callahan in the sitcom Lenny. Though the show only ran for around half a year on CBS, Jenna von Oy was noticed.

This was followed by the biggest break of her career when she landed the role of the super talkative Six Lemeure in the sitcom Blossom. The show ended in 1995 after completing more than 100 episodes.

After the show finished, her fans got to hear her voice the role of Stacey in A Goofy Movie in 1995. The same year, she took a break from acting to enroll at film school in University of Southern California. She dropped out after two years to return to acting in 1999 in the hit show, The Parkers. In this show, she played the role of the best friend to the main character, Nikki Parker. The show was a hit and the final episode was aired in 2004.

While her television career was taking off, she also took up acting roles in movies. In 1996, she was seen in the television movies She Cried No (1996) and Dying to Belong (1997). In 1998, she took up the role of Theresa in 7th Heaven, a family television drama that revolved around the Camden family.

It was somewhere in the early 1990s that Jenna von Oy visited Nashville to promote her show Blossom and fell in love with the city. She was in her early 20s when she moved to Nashville to write songs. In 2000, she released her demo album with the goal of starting a career in country music. Her debut album, Breathing Room was released in September 2007. Her second album, Coffee & Men: An EP for Childish Adults was released in 2009.

After her first child was born, she started her own blog titled The Cradle Chronicles. Her blog is full of hilarious family incidents, parenting topics, and more. She also wrote for People magazine. Finally, in 2015, her book, Situation Momedy: A First Time Mom’s Guide to Laughing Your Way Through Pregnancy & Year One was published.

Jenna von Oy is also a photographer and her work has been published in many magazines.

In 2019, she appeared in the movie, Cecil in which she essayed the role of Lorrie Stevens.

Jenna von Oy was born on May 2, 1977. She was born in Danbury, Connecticut, USA and her birth name was Jennifer Jean von Oy. In an interview, she claims that when she was two years old her guardian angel told her in a dream that her name was supposed to be Jenna. Ever since then she has made sure that everyone addresses her as Jenna.

She completed her high school from Newtown High School, which is located in Newtown, Connecticut, US.

She is married to Brad Bratcher, who is a computer analyst. They met at a bar in Nashville in 2008. They were married in 2010. Their first daughter was born in May 2012 and they named her Gray Audrey. Their second daughter was born in 2014. She is called Marlowe Monroe.

Jenna von Oÿ is an advocate for animal rights and has worked with several animal welfare organizations.
