Rise to Fame
Joey ventured into the social-media arena when he was still in school. He aspired to become a "YouTuber" ever since he began watching 'YouTube' videos. Back in 2008, Joey would watch the 'YouTube' channel of Smosh a lot and was intrigued by the idea of making money through entertaining people. However, he started his career through 'Vine,' where he earned a substantial fan base. After the app was taken down, Joey decided to continue his social-media journey through 'YouTube.' He launched his first ‘YouTube’ channel on September 4, 2012. However, he took almost a year to post his first video. On August 20, 2013, Joey opened his channel with the video titled 'Vine Mirror Reflection Trick Tutorial.' Over time, his videos began attracting the audience. He then released the videos titled 'Bashing Dad's Phone - Dad Freaks out!!!,' 'Bashing Sister's Autographed One Direction CD - Funny Pranks on Family,' and 'Bashing Dad's Xbox - DAD FREAKS OUT!!!.' All published in the beginning of 2014, the videos were the first on the channel to cross a million views. Joey's unique content idea was slowly making a mark. He then started performing social experiments to check people's reactions to various situations and topics. One of his most popular social experiments was conducted to see how parents train their children to avoid abduction (13 million views). He “roofied” drinks to check how easy or difficult it was to trick females at bars (15 million views). He made videos on home invasion by children (10 million views) and experimented on how both girls and guys could be sexually harassed in public (12 million views). Joey is known for the phrases he uses in his videos. He initially used "It's smashing time" a lot in his videos, which later changed to "It's bashin' time." Currently, Joey's channel has earned over 2.5 million subscribers. His second 'YouTube' channel is a vlog space where he primarily posts his views and opinions on various subjects. The content of the vlog channel has earned him over 240 thousand subscribers to date. Joey's third channel, 'Joey Salads is Family Friendly,' was launched on February 4, 2019. He creates family-friendly pranks and social experiments for the channel, which has earned him around 3.3 thousand subscribers to date. Joey's 'Instagram' posts have added more than 360 thousand followers to his social-media fan base.
Joey has often collaborated with fellow social-media stars Boris Laursen and Jack Vale. The 'YouTube' channel 'h3h3Productions' has created many reaction videos about Joey's content. Joey once admitted in an interview that many of his social experiments were fake.

Political Career
Of late, Joey has turned toward politics and has decided to run for the 'Congress' in 2020. He wishes to be the voice of New York District 11. Joey feels that the state and city governments have not done anything considerable for New York District 11, which gives him an agenda for his political campaigns. Joey aims to eradicate the hostility that has been displayed toward the working-class people living there. He wants to apply the values of the working class in New York City to fight against the “anti-American,” “anti-working-class” agenda pursued by the 'Democratic Party.' Joey attributes his strength to speak against social evils to his father's hard work to provide for his family. He, too, has worked hard to support his family and to start his business. Joey has had several odd jobs. He has been a pizza boy, has sold ice cream, has worked in kitchens, and has cleaned, all while attending grade school.

Joey's interest in politics soared in high school when he developed hatred for various media channels, which he felt always lied to the people, and for the billionaires, who he thought were against the working-class people of the US. He then dropped out of college, and at the age of 18, created his own app company. He soon became a professional social-media influencer. Six years later, Joey had his own marketing firm. He now advises and helps people and large companies through social media and internet marketing.
Family & Personal Life
Joey was born on December 10, 1993, in Staten Island, New York. He dated social-media influencer Tanisha Coetzee earlier, but they broke up in early 2018. The two had met for the first time while filming a prank video. The audience often blames Joey's abusive behavior and his pranks on Tanisha for their break-up. However, Tanisha has always advocated for Joey and has clarified that he has always treated her well.
Joey does not follow any prankster on 'YouTube.' Instead, he has subscribed to movie review channels and prefers watching content related to comics and superheroes.
