Johannah Poulston Biography

Johannah Poulston was born on March 25, 1973, in Doncaster, England, United Kingdom. She was raised in Doncaster, a large market town in South Yorkshire. Johannah pursued a career in health science and went on to work as a midwife. She married Troy Austin at a very young age. She was just 18 years old when she gave birth to her first child, Louis, on December 24, 1991. Johannah and Troy Austin separated a week after Louis’ birth. Johannah then raised Louis almost single-handedly before marrying Mark Tomlinson. Louis considered Mark Tomlinson as his father and hence took his last name.

Johannah’s popularity increased when Louis Tomlinson became part of the famous boy band ‘One Direction.’ Subsequently, Johannah’s social media pages started gathering thousands of followers, making her an internet celebrity. She also earned an opportunity to work on the sets of ‘ITV’ network’s ‘Fat Friends.’ Johannah also started making public appearances with the members of ‘One Direction.’ On August 10, 2015, Johannah joined stars like Liam Payne, when she attended the ‘Believe in Magic Cinderella Ball,’ a charity event that was aimed at bringing happiness into the lives of terminally ill children. The event was held at ‘The National History Museum’ in London.

After divorcing her first husband, Troy Austin, Johannah married Mark Tomlinson, with whom she had four daughters – Charlotte, Félicité, Daisy, and Phoebe. Her twin daughters, Daisy and Phoebe, appeared in the TV series ‘Fat Friends’ alongside their half-brother, Louis.

In 2011, Johannah and Mark Tomlinson went their separate ways, which eventually led to their divorce. In 2013, Johannah got engaged to a doctor named Daniel Deakin. On February 12, 2014, Johannah was blessed with her second twins – Ernest and Doris. Johannah and Deakin entered wedlock on July 20, 2014. The couple remained married until 2016 when Johannah passed away after losing her battle to leukemia.

In 2016, Johannah Poulston was diagnosed with advanced leukemia. She was then hospitalized at ‘University College London Hospital.’ She was later admitted at ‘Royal Hallamshire Hospital’ in Sheffield, where she passed away at the age of 43. Her death sparked an outpouring of grief. Many celebrities, including Zayn Malik, Cheryl Cole, Lady Gaga, and Nina Dobrev offered their condolences to Johannah’s family. In 2017, Louis Tomlinson revealed that Johannah had asked him to reconcile with his former bandmate Zayn Malik and that it was her last wish.
