Jolene Blalock is an American actress and model who is best known for playing the Vulcan commander and science officer T'Pol in the UPN science-fiction series 'Star Trek: Enterprise'. Since then, she has appeared in a number of sci-fi films and television shows. Starting out as a model, she did photoshoots for 'Maxim', 'Playboy' and 'FHM' magazines, and later took lessons to polish her acting skills. Some of the well-known television series she has appeared in are 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', 'The Diamond Hunters', 'JAG', 'Stargate SG-1', 'CSI: Miami', and 'Legend of the Seeker'. She also had major roles in films such as 'Slow Burn', 'Shadow Puppets', 'Starship Troopers 3: Marauder', 'Sinners and Saints', and 'Sex Tape', and the TV movies 'Jason and the Argonauts', 'On the Edge' and 'I Dream of Murder'.

Modeling Career
At the age of 17, Jolene Blalock left home and traveled to Europe and Asia to pursue a career in modeling. During this time, she appeared on the covers of many men's lifestyle magazines, and was featured twice in Maxim's 'Girls of Maxim' gallery.
In April 2002, she posed for a clothed fashion layout in 'Playboy', and was interviewed by the magazine for its '20Q' section in February 2005. She was named the 10th sexiest woman in the world by 'FHM' Magazine in 2003.
Acting Career
In 1998, during a trip back to the United States, Jolene Blalock was offered acting opportunities, following which she took acting lessons at Stella Adler Academy. She also took comedy lessons at Toronto's Second City Improv and Second City Los Angeles.
She subsequently appeared in an episode of 'Veronica's Closet' later in 1998, followed by appearances in the series 'Love Boat: The Next Wave' in 1999, and 'G vs E' and 'D.C.' in 2000. Also in 2000, she was cast as Medea in the made-for-TV movie 'Jason and the Argonauts'.
She had guest roles as Laura Garris in 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' (2000), Ruby Grange in 'The Diamond Hunters' (2001), and as Corporal Lisa Antoon in 'JAG' (2001). She also bagged a role in the TV movie 'On the Edge' in 2001.
In 2001, she bagged her breakthrough role of T'Pol in the sci-fi series 'Star Trek: Enterprise', which she described as a dream-come-true. She won the 'Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television' that year, and went on to appear in 98 episodes until the show ended in 2005.
She shot for the film 'Slow Burn' in 2003, but it was eventually unveiled at the 'Toronto International Film Festival' in September 2005 before limited theatrical release in 2007.
She guest-starred in two episodes of the military sci-fi adventure series 'Stargate SG-1' in 2003-04, portraying Ishta, leader of a group of female Jaffa.
She had lead roles in the 2006 TV movie 'I Dream of Murder' and the 2007 horror film 'Shadow Puppets'. The following year, she was cast in the main role of Captain Lola Beck in the direct-to-video military sci-fi film 'Starship Troopers 3: Marauder'.
