Joshua Block’s TikTok journey started unintentionally as he installed the app just for the fun. He posted his first short comedy video on 27 September 2020 on his Tiktok account: ‘@worldoftshirts’. The first video was a duet, he reacted to a video which was about repairing a shattered toilet. The video has garnered 300K views till now.

Some of his videos that have been watched by lakhs of his fans are about: claiming that one pandemic happens every hundred years, dancing video on ‘Conga’ by Gloria Estefan, and his singing video of Empire State of Mind in the middle of New York City.

The followers and views on his account significantly raised in October 2020, because of his impressive vlogging, comedy and live stream videos. He crossed his 50,000-follower mark on TikTok in December 2020. The number of fans on TikTok doubled in February 2021, and increased to 2.3 million as of Oct, 2021.

He is also the CEO of ‘World of T-Shirts Online’, the website features T-shirts with photos captured by Joshua Block or single line catchphrases in variety of colors and phone cases.

Joshua Block paid to feature himself dancing in Times Square display along with his Tiktok handle ‘worldoftshirts’.

In a video made by his fan, he was found charging the $50 for a video and $20 for a photo. The act in the video was heavily criticized by his fans, some even said that Tiktok fame has entered his mind.

In another video, he was recorded stamping a fish again and again with his foot. The video was uploaded on the Tiktok and Reddit. The video was heavily condemned by his followers. Shortly after, he uploaded an apology video and confessed that “it was a very terrible thing that I did”. His fans had mixed reaction some were ok with his apology whereas few were still furious.

Joshua Block was born on 7 August 2001 in United States of America. His mother, Andrea Tobin, was a doctor, unfortunately she died in 2015.

His unique way of speaking had led some of his fans to question; whether he has some problem, whereas no verified claim has been made by him so far. He has an amazing voice as he was part of children's choir previously. He loves New York City as many of his videos are around it.

Presently, he lives in New York City with his grandparents.
