Julianna Margulies Biography

Julianna Luisa Margulies is an American actress as well as producer. She gained wide recognition after portraying the character of Carol Hathaway in NBC's medical drama ‘ER’. After this, she played lead roles in other shows like ‘The Good Wife’ and ‘Canterbury's Law’. Besides these, Margulies also appeared in the drama series ‘The Grid’, ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Homicide: Life on the Street’. She contributed to the big screen as well, by acting in movies such as ‘Out for Justice’, ‘Traveller’, ‘A Price Above Rubies’, ‘Ghost Ship’, ‘The Darwin Awards’, ‘Snakes on a Plane’ and ‘Three Christs’, to name a few. The actress voiced Neera in the flick ‘Dinosaur’. Talking about her awards and honors, Margulies has received eight Screen Actor Guild Awards, thus making her the most awarded actress within SAG.
