Jvke started out on TikTok in 2020, during the COVID pandemic. He started posting music videos which quickly generated a lot of listeners on the platform. He later came out with his original song “Upside Down” which immediately became a megahit. The following year, he collaborated with the Swedish DJ duo Galantis for the song ‘Dandelion.’ The song garnered praise from critics and reached number 7 on the Sverigetopplistan. It also peaked at number 19 on the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart.

The year 2022 saw the release of his song “Golden Hour” which sent shockwaves across the music scene. It received wide praise from critics and peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 while reaching number 3 on the UK Independent Singles Chart. It also made it to the top 10 in the US Mainstream Top 40. Golden Hour also earned him an MTV Video Music Award nomination for Push Performance Of The Year. That same year, he came out with his debut studio album “This Is What ____ Feels Like (Vol. 1–4)” under the record label AWAL and Jvke Music (his own label). He next released songs like “Fool 4 U,” “This Is What Autumn Feels Like,” and “This Is What Space Feels Like.”

He featured in the song “Angel Pt. 1” by Kodak Black and NLE Choppa, released in 2023. Interestingly, that same year, he came out with the sequel of the song “Angel Pt. 2” which featured artists like Jimin, Charlie Puth, and Muni Long.

Jvke has a brother who co-wrote his first song “Upside Down.” His mother has appeared in some of his TikTok videos. He attended the Community College of Rhode Island but dropped out a year later in favor of his music career.
