Kanwer Singh Bio

Kanwer Singh, also known as Humble The Poet, is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself as both an elementary school teacher and an MC/spoken word artist. He officially adopted his stage name in 2009 when he launched The Poet Project, a platform dedicated to sharing his own works as well as those of other inspiring artists. Beginning in 2008, Kanwer started recording tracks and creating self-made videos for his YouTube channel, kanwersingh, which helped him gain recognition in the music industry. His talent has been acknowledged by various publications and hip hop websites, including MTV Iggy, MTV K, Rolling Stone, FHM, and World Star Hip Hop. Additionally, he is the founder of the website Brwnppl and in 2014, he released the book "Unlearn: 101 Simple Truths for a Better Life." Kanwer is a family-oriented individual with a younger sister and brother, and he often features his nephew, Zoravar, on his Instagram account. Notably, he has collaborated with Lilly Singh on songs such as "#LEH" and "Moorni," showcasing his versatility and creativity in the music industry.
