Karl Jacobs Bio

Karl Jacobs was born on 19 July 1998, in North Carolina, United States of America. He was raised alongside his siblings, Sean Jacobs and Corry Berland. He was enrolled at Fort Dorchester High School in North Charleston, South Carolina, where he played soccer and tennis. He also started a gaming club and was the leader of a debate team in high school. Meanwhile, he also took up a job and worked as a writer and editor for GameTZ. From May to August 2016, he also worked as a salesman at Starlite Gaming. After graduating from high school in 2016, he went to Portland Community College in Portland, Oregon, where he studied multimedia from 2016 to 2018.

Karl Jacobs, who developed an interest in gaming at a young age, became part of a YouTube gaming channel called Game Patrol. In 2017, he started streaming his gaming videos on Twitch where he became known as GamerBoyKarl. In 2019, he was seen in MrBeast’s brother MrBro’s YouTube video titled Last to Leave Halloween Candy Wins $10,000. Around the same time, he was given an opportunity to be a part of MrBeast’s YouTube crew. Karl Jacobs decided to drop out of college five weeks prior to his graduation and became part of MrBeast’s YouTube crew.

Karl Jacobs started his social media career as a cameraman, shooting videos for social media stars like MrBeast. When Jake The Viking left the crew, Jacobs became an on-screen member of MrBeast’s crew and started appearing on MrBeast’s YouTube videos. He went on to become one of the most popular members of MrBeast’s crew before creating his own YouTube channel named Karl. As he had already gained fame as one of MrBeast’s YouTube crew, it did not take long for him to establish himself as a popular YouTuber

Over the years, Karl Jacobs has also managed to establish himself as a popular TikTok star. His TikTok account, where he posts interesting videos, has accumulated millions of fans and likes. He is also popular on platforms like Twitter and Instagram where he has millions of followers as well. Karl Jacobs has used his social media popularity to create his own merchandise. He sells various products, such as stickers, T-shirts, hoodies, iPhone cases, sweatshirts, keychains, bracelets, rings, pillows, notebooks, and masks, on platforms like Etsy, TeePublic, Redbubble, and Amazon. He also has his own website where he sells his merchandise.

Karl Jacobs started achieving popularity after becoming a part of MrBeast’s YouTube crew. He then created his own YouTube channel on Sep 12, 2020, which started accumulating thousands of subscribers and millions of views in a short period of time. Many of his YouTube videos, such as I Pretended to be AFK, I Made a Manhunt Parody on Dream SMP, I Hunted LazarBeam on Dream SMP, I Got Exposed by Corpse, and I met Pokimane, have gathered millions of views each. As of now, his channel has managed to collect more than two million subscribers and over 35 million views.

Karl Jacobs is also popular on platforms like Twitch and TikTok where he has more than 2.5 million followers and over six million fans respectively. Apart from being a famous TikToker and YouTuber, Jacobs is also popular on Instagram and Twitter. His Twitter account, which was created in June 2014, has gathered more than 2.5 million followers.  His Instagram handle has more than 2.5 million followers as well.

Karl Jacobs was caught up in a controversy in 2021 when old video clips of him streaming videos alongside Ice Poseidon resurfaced on the internet. Paul Denino, better known as Ice Poseidon, has a controversial history online and has been accused of being a racist. Karl Jacobs’ association with Ice Poseidon attracted criticisms on the internet as fans claimed that Jacobs had been a supporter of Ice Poseidon. Jacobs later apologized for his past association with Ice Poseidon and said that he does not endorse

Karl Jacobs is a fan of the popular reality competition TV series Survivor and hopes to be a part of the series in the future.  Jacobs loves cats and owns a couple of pet cats. Karl Jacobs supports the LGBTQ+ community and has stated that he is on the asexual spectrum.
