Katie Wagner’s earliest job in the media was for the Don Mischer special ‘M & W’ on ABC. For the program, she met Dan Aykroyd and his wife, Donna Dixon, and interviewed them. That interview garnered her significant attention and she was eventually hired by Movietime Cable Network (precursor of E! Network), where she worked from 1987 to 1990. In later years, she was employed at HBO and V. She also worked as an MTV VJ. She served as one of the hosts of ‘Awake on the Wildside’ and as the replacement of Chris Connelly on a few episodes of ‘The Big Picture’. She also hosted a program that aired in the nights.

She and Richard Jobson were the hosts of the ITV show ‘Hollywood Report’ for two years. It was broadcast in 11 countries. She subsequently served as one of the hosts on 22 episodes of the TBS show ‘Live From the House of Blues’. As the co-host and contributing reporter, she worked with Robin Leach for the final two seasons of ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’. She was involved in the production of Lifetime’s biographical special on her stepmother, ‘Intimate Portrait: Natalie Wood’.

In 1999, she was hired by the TV Guide Channel and was employed there for five and a half years before leaving to host her own show. In 2004, she hosted the WB show, ‘The Starlet’. At present, she co-hosts The JOINT Studios’ online radio show ‘Inner View with Katie & Voxx’ with the psychic medium "Voxx".

Over the years, Wagner has accumulated quite a few acting credits in her résumé. She made her acting debut in 1989 in the romance-drama ‘Ice House’, portraying a prostitute. In the 1999 comedy film ‘Dill Scallion’, she was cast as K.T. May. In 2001, she appeared in her first TV role in a season one episode of Syfy’s ‘Black Scorpion’. She played a TV Guide reporter in a 2001 episode of ‘Grosse Pointe.’ In 2005, she was cast as a newswoman in the season seven episode ‘Styx Feet Under’ of The WB’s supernatural drama series ‘Charmed’.

Born on May 11, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, USA, Katie Wagner is the daughter of actors Marion Marshall and Robert Wagner. She has two older half-brothers through her mother, Joshua and Peter Donen. She is also the former stepsister of actress Natasha Gregson Wagner, as Natasha’s mother, Natalie Wood, and Wagner’s father married each other twice. Wood and Robert had a daughter of their own, named Courtney, who is Wagner’s younger half-sibling. Her current stepmother is actress Jill St. John.

After graduating from Beverly Hills High School in 1982, she began studying at Santa Barbara City College. However, she left the college after only a semester to become a model. Her inherent good looks and tall stature garnered her multiple opportunities and she got the chance to live in London and Tokyo. In 1987, a drastic shift came about in her professional life. She and her father made up one of the celebrity child-parent groups featured on the biographical show ‘Born Famous’. The host, Meredith MacRae, asked her what she wanted to do professionally. Wagner responded, “I would like to do what you do.”

Wagner was previously in a relationship with rock guitarist Dweezil Zappa. On July 7, 2007, Wagner married her long-time boyfriend, actor Leif Lewis. They have a son together, Riley John Wagner-Lewis, who was born on September 21, 2006.
