Katy and Jazzy set up their channel on May 17, 2010, when Katy was only nine years old. The first video was uploaded on 12 June. Titled ‘Us dancing to Somebody to Love by Justin Bieber!,’ the video featured Jazzy dancing with two older girls. The video is blurry and uneven and they are not even dancing in sync. However, there is sincerity in their efforts which offers a slight glimpse of what they might become in future.

The first set of videos was primarily about dancing, hairstyle, tutorials and gymnastics. Katy made her first appearance on the channel on November 30, 2012, in a video titled ‘Tutorial with Katy and Jazzy cute chain earrings’. Unassuming and honest, the video showed an 11-year-old Katy and a 10-year-old Jazzy giving advice on how to make chain earrings to their then small group of subscribers

Balancing their studies and respective extra-curricular activities, the girls began to upload on a regular basis. They covered a wide range of topics, from makeup tutorials to challenges to cooking. However, the channel’s primary focus remained vlogging. They gradually accumulated a loyal fanbase that increased as the years went by. As of 2018, they have more than 219 thousand subscribers and nearly 29 million views.

Their most viewed video is ‘Get Ready With Us for a birthday party | Hair, Makeup & Outfits’. Uploaded on May 9, 2014, it has over eight million views.
