Kayden Stephenson Biography

Stephenson came to the limelight when he auditioned on the twelfth season of American Idol. He gave the audition at the Chesapeake Energy Arena located in Downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, US on July 20, 2012. He impressed the judges by singing the hit song ‘I Wish’ by famous American singer and songwriter Stevie Wonders and won a Golden ticket that paved his way to the Hollywood round. His journey in the show however ended after that.

Stephenson started posting his videos on his Vine account that eventually raised him to fame. Till present he has gained over 1.6 million followers on his Vine account ‘kayden’. Kayden Stephenson was born on October 19, 1996, in St. Francis hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the US. He suffers from a serious genetic condition called cystic fibrosis that requires him to undergo a range of treatments from time to time. This however could not deter the spirit of Stephenson who continues to entertain his fans and viewers with his work and stands as an inspiration for many. According to sources, his mother Stephanie Franklin said that her son teaches everyone in the family to live each day of their lives as their last day and consider these days as God’s gift believing that God has made specific plans for each one of them. Stephenson is very close to his two siblings, sister Saylor and brother Gabe. He lives with his family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dancer, singer, actress, and model Jordyn Jones who took part during the first season of the Lifetime dance reality series Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition is a close friend of Stephenson. There is no information available on his romantic association or dating status and it seems that the budding star prefers not to divulge much on his personal life.
