Kayla Kosuga created her self-titled YouTube channel in 2015 and posted her first video, “Back to school outfit ideas,” in August 2016. She earned popularity for her diverse range of content that ranges from haul videos, challenge videos, fashion and lifestyle content, and vlogs. Her engaging content has built a sizable fanbase on YouTube.

Kayla Kosuga and Elijah started their collaborative YouTube channel, Kayla and Elijah, in 2019. Their first video was titled “MY BOYFRIEND *ATTEMPTS* TO DO MY MAKEUP.” The couple mostly posts vlogs and hauls on the channel and has amassed over 97k subscribers.

In July 2021, Kayla Kosuga posted a video on her YouTube channel “why I HATE living with my Fiancé.” While the video had nothing more than light-hearted banter, it evoked an unexpected reaction. Small edited clips of her video started to circle around the internet that portrayed Elijah in bad light. A lot of hate comments directed towards Kayla’s love life also started to pour in. Finally, a week later, Kayla Kosuga released a video to respond to the unwarranted hate towards her fiance.

Kayla clarified that her video about Elijah was just a fun video and she was merely teasing her boyfriend in the clip. Kayla also responded to the hate comments and clarified that she was in a happy relationship with Elijah.

Kayla Kosuga was born to Aidel and Keola on March 24, 2001, in Maui, Hawaii. She has 2 siblings: a younger sister, Tiara, and an older brother named Noah. Her sister has appeared in some of her videos. Kayla’s zodiac sign is Aries.

Kayla Kosuga got engaged to her boyfriend, Elijah Gomez, in 2020. They have a daughter together named Elliana.
