Keely Shaye Smith Biography

Keely Shaye Smith is an American journalist, television host/correspondent, and author. The multi-talented lady is also a filmmaker, glamour model, and actress. She has had a rich career as a journalist, covering a broad range of issues from most wanted fugitives and celebrity journalism to animal advocacy and environmental journalism. She hosted NBC's primetime show ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ for a few seasons. As an author, Smith has had about six articles published in the Los Angeles Confidential magazine. An avid gardener, she is also writing a book on horticulture and is even trying to develop the book into a weekly television series. Till date, she has reported on everything from biodiversity and toxic waste to organic gardening and children's issues. The award-winning broadcast journalist and filmmaker regularly volunteers her time for various environmental causes such as clean air and clean water campaigns, anti-nuclear campaigns, saving endangered species, marine mammal and wetland protection, and environmental educational in the school for grades K-12. On a personal note, Smith is married to actor Pierce Brosnan and is a loving mother of two sons. She is also a stepmother of three kids.
