Keisha Nash Whitaker, who considers herself as ambitious, had initially begun her career as a model and was represented by Ford Models and Elite Model Management. She has acting credit in the 2004 drama film 'Proud', which also stars her brother Jeffrey Nash. She later turned executive producer for the documentary 'Kassim the Dream' in 2008. She had once tried to start a clothing line for children when her own kids were younger, but found it difficult to commit to a new business as a dedicated mother.
