Kelsey Asbille Chow says she was inspired by a community theatre play to take up a career in acting. She notes that she had some great experiences being a part of productions of ‘Ragtime’, ‘The Will Rogers Follies’ and ‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’. Following her stint at the community theatre, she got her first TV role in the teenage drama ‘One Tree Hill’ where she was cast as Gigi Silveri. She played the recurring role on the show from 2005 to 2009.

In 2008, she made guest appearances on the sitcom ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’. In 2010, she also acted in ‘Den Brother’, an original film from Disney Channel. 2010 became the year where the dark-haired actress became recognized. She was cast in Disney XD’s original series ‘Pair of Kings’ as Mikayla. The gig went on until 2013. She also landed a small part in ‘The Amazing Spiderman’ (2012) and also did a part in the movie ‘Run’, in 2013. In 2014, she acted in the Fox drama ‘Hieroglyph’, however, the show was cancelled and did not premier. In 2015, she appeared in ‘Teen Wolf’, a fantasy drama, in the recurring role of Tracy Stewart. During the same year, she co-starred with Stefanie Scott on the music video ‘Girls like Girls’.

In 2017, she was cast in the movie ‘Wind River’ and also appeared in the television film ‘Brimming with Love’. Currently, she is acting in the American Television series ‘Yellowstone’ starring Kevin Kostner.

Her father is Chinese and her mother is English, Kelseywas raised in Columbia along with her two siblings. She attended the Hammond School, Columbia, South Carolina. She went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Columbia. At Columbia University, she studied human rights with a special focus on indigenous rights.
