Kevin Connolly is an American actor and director who portrayed the character of ‘Eric Murphy’ in the comedy series ‘Entourage’ for seven years. He also directed two episodes of the show. He reprised his role in the film adaptation of the show as well. Another one of his major works is the sitcom ‘Unhappily Ever After,’ in which he appeared in 100 episodes, directing six of them. He was nominated at the Young Artist Awards for his role of ‘Larry O'Donnell’ in the comedy show ‘Great Scott!’ His contributions to the TV productions ‘First Years’ and ‘Friends with Better Lives’ have also been much appreciated. Besides being a well-known face in the TV industry, he is also active in films and has featured in numerous movies, including ‘Rocky V’, ‘The Notebook’, and ‘The Ugly Truth’. He featured in the multi-starrer romantic film ‘He's Just Not That into You’ as well.

Career
Kevin Connolly started as a child model, appearing on television commercials at the age of six. At sixteen years old, Connolly got a part in the Sylvester Stallone-starrer boxing sports film ‘Rocky V’. In 1992, Connolly made his television debut in the sitcom ‘Great Scott!’ as ‘Larry O'Donnell’. He was nominated in the Best Young Actor Co-starring in a Television Series category at the Young Artist Awards in 1993. He received the part of ‘Ryan Malloy’ in the sitcom ‘Unhappily Ever After’. Connolly featured in one of the lead roles alongside Geoff Pierson, Stephanie Hodge, Nikki Cox, and Justin Berfield. He impressed everyone with his portrayal of a kind-hearted person with a low IQ who everyone seems to dislike.
Connolly received the role of ‘Eric 'E' Murphy’ in the comedy-drama show ‘Entourage’ in the mid-2000s. The show ran on HBO between 2004 and 2011, for a total of 96 episodes. Connolly appeared alongside Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, and Jeremy Piven, playing one of the most popular characters on television during those years. For his brilliant performance on the show, Kevin Connolly was nominated at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical award. He was also nominated along with the rest of the cast at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for the best ensemble cast, three times. His more recent TV projects include the series ‘Pitch’ (2016) and ‘The Oath’ (2019).
He appeared in the romantic drama film ‘The Notebook’ (2004) alongside Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. In 2009, Connolly appeared in the multi-starrer romantic film ‘He's Just Not That into You’, featuring Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper, and Scarlett Johansson. He also acted in the 2009 rom-com ‘The Ugly Truth’ alongside Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl.
In 2014, Connolly featured as one of the main characters (‘Bobby Lutz’) in the CBS sitcom ‘Friends with Better Lives’, and two years later, he appeared in the recurring role of ‘Charlie Graham’ in the show ‘Pitch’. In the 2014 drama film ‘Reach Me’ by John Herzfeld, Connolly featured alongside Sylvester Stallone, Kyra Sedgwick, and Terry Crews, as ‘Roger’. The film didn’t do well at the box office and also failed to please the critics.
