In 2013, while he was still a student of WVU, he and his SugarK Productions team, made a five-minute movie for Campus Moviefest, the largest student film festival in the world. The movie, The B Team, won the Best Picture award and got him an invitation to the Cannes Film Festival in France. Kevin Langue was involved in its writing, production, direction, editing and even acted in it. The following year, he and two fellow WVU students, made yet another short movie Au Milieu for the Campus Moviefest. The movie once again won the award. Both years, the awards won him a trip to Hollywood. He also served as the executive producer of the latter film.
He continued his work and in 2015 wrote, produced, directed and acted in another short video Life Lessons. In 2016, he was hired to work as a production assistant for 9 episodes of ABC series Notorious. He also had an uncredited role in an episode in the series. His other work as an actor in 2016 were in a short called Something Between Us and in a television miniseries Naranja.
In 2016-2017, he became the production assistant and assistant to actor Joel Edgerton for the Netflix movie Bright which starred Will Smith. As a production assistant, he also worked in the 2017 adventure, comedy and fantasy movie New in Town. The same year he worked as the writer, producer, director and actor in a video comedy short On Hold w/AP&P and turned second assistant director for the crime horror thriller film Clowntergeist.
In 2018, he once again became the writers' department production assistant for the Netflix show 13 Reasons Why. His latest work has been in 2021 short Candyland: Part I where he plays the part of a Prom DJ.
Kevin Langue was born on 23 June 1993, in Paris, France, as the oldest child of his parents. Both his parents were from Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. His father worked for the United Nations and the World Bank for nearly two decades. His family includes his brother and sister too. At the age of 11, he moved to Harare, Zimbabwe, after his father received a promotion. He arrived in West Virginia at the age of 16.
For his education. He went to Linsly School in Wheeling. Afterwards, he joined West Virginia University (WVU) in 2011 and obtained his B.B.A. in marketing in 2015. A sports fan, he played basketball and soccer and also ran track throughout high school. He also played football while in WVU. At WVU, he was also the founder and President of The Filmmakers Club. His love for acting also led him to become a part of various theatrical productions including A Kind Of A Sad Love Story and The Dutchman.
