Kurt Iswarienko Biography

Kurt Iswarienko started his career as an electrician on the sets of Hollywood films. In 1997, he worked in the camera and electrical department of Mark Pellington-directed comedy drama film ‘Going All the Way.’ In 1998, he worked as the head electrician on the sets of ‘Riding with James Dean.’ After working on other popular films, such as ‘Clockstoppers,’ ‘Pumpkin,’ and ‘Outside Ozona,’ Kurt received his big breakthrough in 2003, when he was roped in to work as an electrician for the fantasy action film ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.’ In the same year, he made his debut as a cinematographer for the movie ‘Ghosts of Genius.’ In 2003, he also made his debut as a producer as he bankrolled a fantasy horror film titled ‘Puppet Master: The Legacy.’ In 2007, he worked as a cinematographer for a short film titled ‘Prenuptial Tango.’ In 2012, he became the executive producer of the popular television series ‘Shannen Says.’ He also appeared in the series as himself and was later seen in the popular talk show ‘Big Morning Buzz Live.’ During the later stages of his career, Kurt Iswarienko started focusing on his skills as a photographer. He eventually became a prolific photographer, working with world-renowned celebrities and brands. Kurt travels around the world, photographing his subjects that range from famous people to not so famous utility poles.

Kurt Iswarienko married Shannen Doherty on October 15, 2011, in Malibu, California. The couple met at a party in 2008, when Kurt was still married to Taryn Band. In 2016, Kurt filed a lawsuit against his wife’s former managers. In his lawsuit, Kurt accused Shannen’s former managers of ruining his sex life with his wife. Kurt claimed that the management team had allowed Shannen’s health insurance policy to lapse, which in turn delayed Shannen’s breast cancer diagnosis. Kurt Iswarienko was supportive throughout his wife’s battle with cancer. The couple doesn’t have children, but own a couple of dogs.

In December 2017, Kurt Iswarienko and his wife went on a trip to Peru. The trip was organized by a travel agency called ‘The Adventure Traveler.’ In 2018, Kurt was sued by the agency, which claimed that Kurt had failed to pay $10,000 after hiring the company to organize the South American vacation. According to the lawsuit, Kurt had paid a $5,000 deposit, but failed to cough up the remaining amount. In another controversy, Kurt and Shannen were accused of breaking up a marriage. In an interview to a popular magazine, Kurt’s former mother-in-law accused Shannen of ending Kurt’s marriage with Taryn Band.

Kurt Andrew Iswarienko was born on June 22, 1974, to Irene and Alexander Iswarienko. Prior to his wedding with Shannen Doherty, Kurt was married to Taryn Band. Kurt is active on Instagram, where he has more than 20,000 followers. He likes spending his free time with his dogs. He also loves surfing, which is one of his favorite pastimes.
