Leida Margaretha Biography

Leida Margaretha Cohen was born on May 12, 1989, in Jakarta, Indonesia. She got married at a young age and gave birth to a son, Alessandro. She then moved to Japan along with her husband, Daniel, and son Alessandro. Margaretha and Daniel got separated while staying in Japan. Margaretha won the battle of custody of their son. After divorcing Daniel, Margaretha met avionics technician and former US marine Eric Rosenbrook on an international dating site. She then traveled to the United States and got engaged to Rosenbrook just two days after meeting him in person. Despite being 11 years younger than Rosenbrook, Margaretha decided to appear alongside the American veteran in the popular documentary TV series ‘90 Day Fiancé.’ The series follows couples with K-1 visa which allows foreigners to become permanent residents of the US, provided they tie the knot with their respective American partners within 90 days. Margaretha’s popularity increased after appearing on the show.

In December 2018, Margaretha and Rosenbrook joined the celebrity shout out app Cameo, which allows people to pay celebrities to record and send personalized messages to their loved ones. Leida Margaretha has been involved in many controversies. She irked many people in the US when she asked her stepdaughter, Tasha, to leave Eric Rosenbrook's two-bedroom apartment. In February 2019, Margaretha’s attorney Andrea Von Hoff said that Tasha has been ordered to stay away from Leida and that the ‘Sauk County Courthouse’ in Wisconsin has granted Margaretha a four-year restraining order against Tasha. Subsequently, more than five thousand people took to the popular petition website ‘Change.org,’ requesting the American government to deport Margaretha back to Indonesia. According to the petition filed on ‘Change.org,’ Margaretha has violated the ‘HIPAA’ laws. The petition also claims that Margaretha has lied about attending medical school and that she cannot establish a career in medicine in the United States. However, Margaretha claims that she is a doctor and that she aspires to practice medicine in the US. She currently lives in the US along with her son and husband. She also maintains a cordial relationship with her ex-husband, Daniel.
