Lorenzo Greer Bio

Lorenzo's father Nathan Greer is an avid soccer fan and started giving soccer lessons to his son quite early. Lorenzo grew up watching his father and his older brother Romello play soccer in their backyard. This is how he became familiar with the sport very early in his life.

The scouts of ‘Coventry City’ spotted Lorenzo at a futsal training session when he was just 5 years old. Impressed by his skills, the scouts enrolled him at a football academy. His training at the ‘Dorrington Academy’ helped Lorenzo in mastering the basics of the game.

Though he is still a kid, he follows a strict routine in order to strike a balance between his training and his studies. Every morning, his father and brother accompany him to his practice sessions. He visits the academy twice a week and practices rigorously for several hours.

Apart from soccer, Lorenzo is also passionate about watching videos on YouTube. He often watches soccer matches on YouTube to observe various skills and strategies employed by his favorite players, such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. Thanks to his brilliant soccer skills, he is often called ‘the future Neymar.’

However, his coaches have said that his skills remind them of the popular footballer Demarai Gray. Lorenzo has won many awards for his amazing talent. He is among the topmost players of the team ‘Birmingham City U8 Pre-academy.’ Lorenzo has also represented teams like ‘Aston Villa’ and ‘Wolves.’

Lorenzo’s father, who is an IT professional, decided to create a YouTube channel for his son so that he could post his football training sessions and also share various tips and tricks related to the game on his channel. He created the channel on January 8, 2015, and titled it ‘Tekkerz kid.’

The channel is packed with videos related to soccer and Lorenzo’s training sessions. Lorenzo’s father later advised him to review various soccer shoes in order to add variety to his channel. His review videos became so popular that many famous brands like Nike and Adidas came forward to sponsor the videos.

The channel also includes unboxing videos, skill tutorials, shooting tutorials, skill compilations, vlogs, and challenge videos among other entertaining videos. His gaming videos too, have become popular and attracted sponsorships as well.

Lorenzo has had the privilege of meeting some of the famous soccer players. He earned himself an opportunity to interview two of his favorite players: Nathan Redmond and Demarai Gray. He interviewed them right before their match at the 2017 ‘European Under-21 Championships,’ which was held at St. George’s Park. In 2018, he starred in the Angry Birds series titled ‘Angry Birds BirLd Cup.’ The series was aired on the Angry Birds’ Youtube channel and ran for 9 episodes. The following year, he made an appearance on the popular news program ‘ITV News at Ten.’

Lorenzo Greer was born on March 1, 2009, in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham, England. His mother’s name is Tara and his father Nathan is an IT professional. Nathan is also a YouTuber and owns a separate channel which he has named ‘Meet The Greers.’

‘Meet The Greers’ is primarily a vlog channel, which is packed with videos pertaining to Nathan’s family and the events in which they take part. The channel also includes a couple of Lorenzo’s soccer videos. Nathan also manages Lorenzo’s YouTube channel. Lorenzo has an elder brother named Romello, who too, is an aspiring football player. Lorenzo also has two younger sisters, namely Sienna, and Sariah. The family also has a gaming channel named ‘MTG GAMING’ where they entertain over 179k subscribers.
